The deputy minister for issues of uncontrolled territories, Georgy Tuka, spoke about the risk of losing Ukraine’s statehood. “Sorry, we have a general risk of losing statehood, not just control over two or three ports. We have a real threat of losing statehood, and at the same time not necessarily a military way. If deputy Vadim Rabinovich and Yuri Boyko, politician Yevgeny Murayev and the rest of this fifth column to hold a majority in the parliament, Ukraine can lose the statehood”, politician commented on the crisis in Azov sea.
He blamed the country’s authorities for neglecting immigrants and voters from the Donbass region. He criticized the opinion of representatives of the ruling coalition that it is useless to work with the electorate in the conflict zone.
“I immediately have a counter question:” Listen, what did you do for these people to be your electorate? Did you provide them with housing? No. Have you provided them with soft loans? No. Did you give them any support? You deprived them of the right to participate in the voting, in the election of the authorities and still now you blame that they are not your electorate? Yes, be afraid of God in the end, “- said George.
The deputy minister excluded the military way of resolving the situation in the Azov Sea. He noted that the crisis resolution strategy is already being worked out with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and Kiev plans to enlist the support of “international partners”.
The situation in the Azov region worsened after the opening of the Crimean bridge. Ukrainian officials have announced the strengthening of their group in the area of the Azov Sea. July 2 Commander of the Ukrainian Navy Igor Voronchenko said that the fleet can be replenished with armored tanks with “unexpected” equipment in the near future.
