IT’S SO FUNNY

Ukraine continues to amuse people. While American “Big Boss” chose the tactics of sanctions against Russia, Kiev also decided to be obliged to impose them. But they didn’t manage to come up with any ideas about economy.
So, what can Ukraine’s economy oppose Russian’s? There is different atti-tude to the West sanctions against our country: someone thinks that sanctions are only beneficial for us, someone proves that they are still hindering us, but there is no doubt that Russia is still steady. There are only few prospects for our opponents.
As a result, Kiev turned out to be at a deadlock. They were sure that it was necessary to empose sanctions. But what exactly and how? They managed to stay silly.
President Petr Poroshenko approved the decision of the National Security and Defense Council in making amendments for the sanctions list, which now includes 1759 people and 786 organizations.
Now restrictive measures concern Russian political parties. Sanctions are imposed on seven Russian party organizations: Yedinaya Rossiya (United Russia), the Communist Party, the Liberal Democratic Party, Rodina, the Democratic Party of Russia, the Agrarian Party of Russia and the Patriots of Russia.
All assets of party members should be blocked in the territory of Ukraine, they are also prohibited from exporting capital outside the country. Availability of cash on bank cards is also limited. In addition, the issuance of licenses or other authorization documents for the import or export of currency values from the country was stopped. The actions of restrictive measures extends to the Central Election Commission (CEC) and its head Ella Pamfilova. Its vice-chairman, Nikolai Bulaev, as well as the secretary of the commission, Maya Grishina, are also on the this list.
The usual question is “What was that?”. It’s hard to imagine that the party functionaries of Yedinaya Rossiya, the LDPR or the Communists are only engaged in exporting capital outside Ukraine or engaged in cashing in Kharkov using Sberbank cards. It is also unlikely that CEC Head Ella Pamfilova is concerned about the import or export of Ukrainian currency valuables.
It seems that the goverment of Ukraine and people who work with Petro Poroshenko are looking for any opportunities to show the West that they are still fighting with Russia. Now they impose sanctions against Yedinaya Rossiya, then, maybe, they will find problems with the Russian theater, although they have al-ready imposed sanctions on books and movies. They are breaking off contacts, even humanitarian, in order to demonstrate that Russia plays role as an aggressor. Sanctions against this country are a perfectly legitimate solution.
Commenting on the sanctions, the deputy secretary of the General Council of the Yedinaya Rossiya (United Russia), Sergei Zheleznyak, considered them like “strange and ridiculous.” They have no effect on the party’s activities and its position in foreign policy issues. “Our party does not engage in any activity on the territory of Uk Commenting on the sanctions, the deputy secretary of the General Council of the Yedinaya Rossiya (United Russia), Sergei Zheleznyak, considered them like “strange and ridiculous.” They have no effect on the party’s activities and its position in foreign policy issues. “Our party does not engage in any activities on the territory of Ukraine, it has no and can not have accounts and assets according to Russian law, Zheleznyaka is quoted by the press service “Yedinaya Rossiya”. The imposition of sanctions by Kiev the politician called “a desperate attempt to attract attention of the West.” raine, it has no and can not have accounts and assets according to Russian law. Nikolai Bulayev, who is deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, said,”Morning reading of this information did not spoil my appetite or bring me down.” It was expected reaction followed from the CEC. He noted that he doesn’t plan to visit Ukraine and he doesn’t have any assets there.
