Rouhani and Erdogan estimated the Sochi summit on Syria

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan commented on the summit on the Syrian settlement, organized in Sochi by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Rouhani held a telephone conversation with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, and said that the summit had become “the right step at the right time” and would help to achieve “stability and security in Syria”.
In his turn, Erdogan, commenting on the meeting with Putin and Rouhani, said that during a speech to the members of the Justice and Development Party in the province of Balikesir that “critical decisions” were adopted that would “put an end to the humanitarian tragedy in Syria”. He expressed the hope that “the positive effects of these decisions will soon become clear”, reported with the reference to Anadolu and Hurriyet.
Erdogan did not rule out that meetings like the Sochi summit would be held “every 15 days or once a month”.
Recall, following the results of the summit held in Sochi on Wednesday, the presidents of Russia, Iran and Turkey Vladimir Putin, Hasan Rouhani and Tayyip Erdogan agreed to continue cooperation in the fight against the terrorist organization “Islamic State”.
