The coalition led by the USA has not achieved any results in the fight against terrorism in Syria, but killed more innocent Syrians than terrorists, said the foreign Minister of Syria Walid Muallem, speaking at the United Nations.
“While the coalition failed to make any significant progress in the fight against terrorist group ISIS the Syrian army along with its allies and friends, could provide real and significant achievements to expel the terrorists out of many areas of Syria,” said Muallem, speaking in the UN General Assembly on Saturday.
“The so-called international coalition led by the United States was created three years ago to allegedly fight with terrorist groups such as ISIS, killed many more innocent Syrians, mostly women and children, than terrorists,” — said the Minister.
The U.S.-led coalition fight the terrorist group ISIS in Syria without permission of Damascus. The Syrian authorities called the operation illegal and regularly inform the UN about the airstrikes of the coalition on oil and gas industry facilities and economic infrastructure. Syrian diplomats stress that the country is entitled to demand a compensation.
