Human rights activists counted the number of casualties from the strikes of the US-led coalition in Syria and Iraq, and were horrified. It turns out that just last June, from the bombs of the coalition were killed 774 of the civilians, the American authorities said only about 603 dead civilians during the period from the end of 2014 up to the present.
And these staggering figures are presented not only by Russian or Syrian human rights defenders. The authors of the report on the victims of American air raids were made, by the British journalists and researchers from organizations Airwais. However, human rights activists say that the Pentagon by its reckless actions almost daily endangers civilians. Especially in Mosul and Raqqa, where the coalition aircraft supported the advance of Iraqi and Kurds forces.
And should we be surprised? In June of the same footage appeared on which American coalition literally burns entire neighborhoods of Syrian and Iraqi cities by shells with white phosphorus. And this is only a small part of what the Americans do. They live by the principle: war will wipe off all sins, and therefore civilians, often, hindrance on the way to achieving goals. Therefore, the figures which are presented by the human rights activists, most likely, very far from reality.
Think yourself and compare how the Syrian troops liberated Aleppo, and how American allies: the Kurds and the Iraqis to “liberate” Mosul and Raqqa. They just surround and bomb, erasing the city. No humanitarian corridors nor any other ways to get out of the assaulted cities. And civilians are doomed to destruction either by bombs and shells or from starvation. And all of this, Lieutenant-General Stephen Townsend, who heads the us-led coalition against ISIS, calls “the most highly coordinated campaign in the history of military conflicts”…
