The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko believes that Russia undermines the “global security order” by bombing ISIS objects in Syria.
In an interview to the BBC Newsnight he has said that “Vladimir Putin wants global instability” , comparing the operation of the Russian Air Force in Syria with the situation in the Donbass region, where, as he has said, “15 months ago Russian soldiers appeared”. However, he hasn’t provide any evidence of the presence of the Russian Armed forces in Ukraine.
According to Poroshenko, “Putin is longing for a world chaos because of the economic problems and the loss of support in the country.”
While Poroshenko himself, according to the latest polls in Ukraine is fully supported only by 3% of respondents, fully unsupported by 33% and unlikely to support another 34% of respondents.
Kiev has repeatedly stated that Russia supplies weapons to Donbass militiamen, and Russian militaries are dislocated in the region
. Moscow denies all the charges, calling the Ukrainian conflict domestic.
